A edição impressa da revista Mojo deste mês de dezembro trouxe a sua lista com os 75 melhores discos do ano de 2022. De acordo com a popular publicação do Reino Unido, o melhor álbum do ano é “Dear Scott” de Michael Head & The Red Elastic The Band. A dupla Wet Leg e seu registro de estreia autointitulado, Danger Mouse & Black Thought com “Cheat Codes”, Horace Andy com “Midnight Rocker” e Arctic Monkeys com The Car completam o top 5.

“Limpo e sóbrio, Head juntou-se a produtor Bill Ryder-Jones em seu estúdio do outro lado da River Mersey em West Kirby e, ao lado de Head’s jovem Red Elastic Band, criou um álbum esse é um resumo de seu songbook: todas as melodias de Bacharach e psicodelia enfumaçada, com Head o perfeito poeta de rua Scouse, desenhando elegantes retratos de caneta das margens do centro da cidade.”
