Noel Gallagher criou expectativa nos fãs ao divulgar um teaser indicando um novo lançamento e nesta quinta-feira (29) veio a revelação: um álbum Greatest Hits do Noel Gallagher´s High Flying Birds. Junto com o anúncio, foi divulgado, também, a faixa inédita “We’re On Our Way Now”.
O disco vai se chamar “Back The Way We Came: Vol 1 (2011-2021)” e terá 18 faixas divididas em dois discos. Foi anunciada, também, uma versão deluxe com um terceiro disco com versões alternativas, demos, gravações acústicas e remixes.
Noel Gallagher divulgou a demo inédita “We’re Gonna Get There In The End” em dezembro do último, na sequência de sua trilogia de EPs – “Black Star Dancing’”, “This Is The Place” e “Blue Moon Rising“.
